Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our Straightforward Commitment

We exist to give Indian homebuyers clarity and evidence, not frustration. If your purchased report fails to deliver value due to a data discrepancy, technical failure, or missing public filings, you are entitled to a swift, no-friction refund.

1. Eligible Refund Scenarios

Technical Delivery Failure
If your payment succeeded but the verification report failed to generate, unlock, or download within 1 hour.
Document or Identity Mismatch
If any attached document or statutory record was bound to the incorrect project, developer, or jurisdiction.
Duplicate Billing
If a network interruption resulted in double charging for the same single project or credit pack.
Unused Credit Packs (Within 7 Days)
If you purchased a 3-report or 10-report pack and have not consumed any credits, you may request a 100% refund within 7 days of purchase.

2. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Because reports synthesize genuine statutory filings and analytical findings instantly upon purchase:

  • Reports that correctly identify adverse risks (e.g., severe delay, escrow diversion) cannot be refunded simply because the findings disappointed the buyer or developer. (Adverse findings are the exact value we provide).
  • Reports downloaded after 7 calendar days from transaction date.

3. Processing Timeline & Payment Gateway Credit

Approved refunds are initiated immediately via Cashfree Payments back to the original source account (UPI, Netbanking, Credit/Debit Card).

  • UPI Transactions: Credited within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Credit/Debit Cards & Netbanking: Credited within 3 to 7 business days per RBI banking clearance schedules.

4. How to Request a Refund

Email our support desk at support@ownproperty.in with:
  • Cashfree Order ID (starts with order_...) or registered mobile number
  • Project Name & RERA Registration Number
  • Brief description of the issue or discrepancy
Our support team responds and issues eligible refunds within 1 business day.
